comments Known as one of the important breeding grounds. Nesting season occurs from March to July. Eggs per clutch ranges from 50 to 148 with a mean of 84.3 eggs, 51 to 112 eggs with a mean of 88.1 for 19 eggs and yolkless eggs ranging from 9 to 57 eggs with a mean of 29.1 eggs for 19. Mean egg diameter of 6.5 cm. One hatchling with 6.7 cm straight carapace length and a weight of 46 g was recorded.
